As parents in Weehawken know, Superintendent of Schools Kevin McLellan has resigned effective February 15, 2015 after more than 2 decades at the helm.

We have an interim Superintendent, John Fitzsimons. His LinkedIn Profile said he's been the Superintendent at (1) West Windsor/Plainsboro, Princteon, Junction, NJ; (2) Tenafly, Tenafly, NJ; (3) New Canaan, New Canaan, CT; (4)Pomperaugh Regional Dist.# 15, Middlebury, CT. They are all top rated schools. Let's see how he performs at Weehawken. All the best to him.
